DOC BRAUN ANTARTICA VISIT IN 3D HD

DOC BRAUN ANTARTICA VISIT IN 3D HD Tube. Duration : 4.62 Mins.

It's not everyday that you get to go to the coldest place on the planet so when the opportunity came up for me to go I knew I would see some a once in a lifetime spectacle. All I can say is that there was alot of snow, alot of ice and no where to land if something went wrong. Apparently it's also the worst place for a plane to fly as if something went wrong and we did try to land, the freezing temperatures would turn us all into frozen vegetables in a few minutes and the plane would never be able to get back up again even if there was a run way due the cold exceeding the design limits for a take off. Long ago apparently a plane of such tourist crashed going too low for a closer look as they got their bearings mixed up. You just wonder whether they were able to attempt recovery of the air craft or whether it was just left there as seriously who would be able to find out anyway. So hop on board, put your tray table up and read that annoying safety card as we got back in time to what may well one day become historic video of how the Antartic once looked before it melted away. I hope you enjoy this and can pick up the excitement we had that day. Cheers, Doc Braun :)

The point of Father-Daughter Relationships

In Today's busy world, Fathers find very diminutive time to get complex in the nurture and amelioration of their children. "Fathers bring a unique presence, a extra impel to raising children," says a clinical psychologist Ray Guarendia, in her book "Back to the Family."

How true this is in the bringing up of daughters! Just as there is a extra bond in the middle of mothers and sons, the connection in the middle of fathers and daughters is unique. Fathers therefore cannot afford to remain remote characters in the lives of their daughters. Parenting is a joint venture, with fathers just as active participants as mothers.

Air Travel Card

There are assorted reasons why paternal involvement becomes limited.

o Ambitious and over worked Dads put their jobs before the welfare of their families. They come home too tired to spend quality time with their children. Often the children are asleep when they return, and leave for school before Dads are awake.
o Absentee Dads: Those with traveling jobs like airline pilots, sales representatives, businessmen or long distance truck drivers may be away from home frequently, sometimes for long stretches.
o Divorced Dads with diminutive visiting ownership also cannot spend enough time with their children.
o False notions that girls are to be brought up exclusively by mothers or women in the house, make men distance themselves from their daughters. They feel awkward to show affection, and so miss out on the diminutive intimacies they could share with their daughters.

The word "Dad" is of a universal nature. It conjures up qualities of responsibility, protection, love, and discipline. Being a father can be a rewarding job, and a man who abdicates his accountability is falling short of his God-given role. John Rosemond a house Counselor, wrote in one of his articles that a father must not only be gift but be 'actively involved' and 'a vigorously concerned participant' in the child rearing process.

Jawaharlal Nehru the first Prime clergyman of India, spent long spells in prison while the struggle for Indian independence. He sorely regretted his divorce from his popular daughter Indira, but he kept in taste with her through letters, which were later compiled into a book "Glimpses of World History." These letters express his deep love for her and the ease with which he expressed it.

"Priyadarshini, dear to my sight but dearer still to my heart....."

"I think of the day when we shall all three meet again, and the thought of it lightens and cheers my heart."

In spite of being absent, he kindled in her an interest in World history, Science and Politics, which contributed in no small part to the moulding of her character.

Or who can forget Dad William Jackson Smart who raised six children single handedly in rural Washington and his daughter Senora Dodd, who fought for Fathers' Day, as a dedication to dads like him.

To be a good father, one must needs be aware of a few significant requirements.

o Show Love. No father should feel embarrassed to show affection to his daughter. A touch, a hug, a extra smile, and three diminutive words "I love you" are tangible ways of communicating love. She learns to reciprocate that love. This is her first male-female connection with her father, and will influence her behaviour with her husband in later life. The earliest reflection of herself as female comes from her dad. How does he regard her? Does he accept her without reservations? Or does he treat her as inferior to her brother? When he shows respect she feels worthwhile as an individual. When he ignores her or is too critical, she begins to feel that she is worthless.
o Show love and respect to her mother. A good and loving connection in the middle of parents is the foundation for her evolution into a happy, well balanced child. It gives her a sense of security, and a good thought about marriage.
o Shared Activities: A good father will show interest in his daughter's activities. He will make her feel good about her abilities and achievements. He will find something to praise. A father should be his daughter's cheer leader. Doing things together like reading, walking, playing games is time well spent. He will also learn to see things through her eyes as she walks him through her wonderland. Time is a very costly gift.
o Communication: Listening and paying attentiveness to what a daughter says is a way of showing love. What may seem silly to an adult may be bothersome to a child. She should be encouraged to talk of her school problems, peer pressure, studies or any other disagreement situations. A good father will help her find solutions to her problems. He will teach not blame. She will be free to voice her opinions and be open to advice.
o Respect: A girl child is to be regarded as a person and not as a possession. Her right to privacy and her space to grow must be respected.
o Honesty: Being honest with his child will make a father trustable in her estimation. Her questions should be answered sensibly. She should be taught to distinguish in the middle of right and wrong, honesty and dishonesty. She should not be forced to do what she doesn't want to do by gift inducements, or threats or emotional blackmail.
o Discipline: "Discipline is one of the most loving, durable gifts a parent can give to his child," says Gaurendi. It should be consistent, fair and administered with love. When training a child in the way she should go, the father should make sure he goes that way himself. The task of parenting is overwhelming. It is keen to see men who take house accountability seriously, and are caring and compassionate. The way a father speaks, the words he uses, the tone of his voice can be encouraging or discouraging. Dependability and Integrity which she learns from her father will prepare her for 'the school of hard knocks' she must pass through on her trek towards adulthood.

The connection in the middle of father and daughter reaches a very delicate phase when she is in her teens. This period must be negotiated with tact and efficiency. She must be assured that he values her as an keen and independent person. Becoming aware of his daughter's sexuality makes many a father uncomfortable. Suddenly he feels demoted in her list of priorities. So far, he was the centre of her universe. Now her eyes begin to rove and get focused on other boys. She wants to dress differently and behave differently. Some fathers cannot deal with these changes well. They might react by being overprotective or overbearing.

o Overprotective: In a society which does not value modesty or sexual purity, Dad becomes afraid that his costly girl may go astray. He feels it is his duty to levy rules about dating and whom she will date, or how she will dress, or what enterprise she will keep. This 'paternal neurosis' is unwelcome. The girl feels restricted. On the one hand it may make her feel insecure, as though she is incapable of taking care of herself. On the other hand, she might want to leave from this 'smother love' before it stunts her emotional growth.
o Overbearing: Daughters tend to rebel against dictatorial fathers. When rigid rules are imposed which she thinks unnecessary, when he restricts her activities she might begin to fear him or hate him. There is a safe bet inclination to rebel. A father must be sensitive to the growing needs of his daughter and make allowances appropriately. He should negotiate fairly, allowing her to gain reliance and pride in her choices. But he must also impress upon her that choices have consequences.

A daughter considers her father a gauge by which she will evaluation the worth of other men. If he is well behaved, dependable, honest and loving, she will look for those qualities in other men. He must be a praying father too as he reflects the unconditional love of God our father. Child psychologist Phyllis Bronstein says that while a mother teaches nurture and caring, a father teaches corporeal competence, self reliance in asserting opinions, and adventurism. Children with good fathers get on well with other population and are achievers. Whereas those who are neglected by their fathers show lower Iq, poor carrying out in school, and delinquency.

When fathers are abusive, hot tempered, irresponsible or alchoholics, this too has an adverse impact on daughters. They look for similar traits in husbands or lovers. Irrespective of the damage it does to them physically, psychologically and emotionally, this 'father hunger' compels them to seek such men, hoping that finally things will change. One father said, "If I screw up, she will spend the rest of her life with a 'screw up.' I don't want that to happen."

Too much of molly coddling is unhealthy and can lead to 'father fixation.' This kind of wrong parenting can be the cause of the Electra complex - a psychological term for a girl's romantic feelings towards her father, and anger towards her mother. Carl Jung called it the "Female Oedipus Attitude." This could even lead to incestuous connection in the middle of father and daughter.

An anonymous poet has this guidance for fathers:
"Take stock of yourself and reconsider your child,
Your time and your thoughts are her due;
For how would you reply the Lord if he asks
What kind of a father were you?"

o False notions that girls are to be brought up exclusively by mothers or women in the house, make men distance themselves from their daughters.

"Take stock of yourself and reconsider your child,
Your time and your thoughts are her due;
For how would you reply the Lord if he asks
What kind of a father were you?"

***Please refer to the Turnpike Cashless Tolling systems video on our channel for an updated video** Florida's Turnpike Enterprise is moving forward with implementing all-electronic open road tolling, which allows customers on Florida's Turnpike to pay tolls without slowing down or stopping. With all-electronic open road tolling, traditional tollbooths will be removed and ALL customers will pay their tolls electronically, through either SunPass transponders or a new "TOLL-BY-PLATE" program. With the elimination of tollbooths, customers will experience a safer, faster and more convenient ride to their destination. All-electronic open road tolling is better for the environment because cars are not stopping and idling at the toll plazas, which reduces emissions and improves customers' gas mileage. Some popular Markets in Lagos, Nigeria

In Lagos, Nigeria, there are a whole of markets that attract a large whole of citizen for various reasons. Some citizen go to these markets to buy items because of their relatively low prices while others prefer them for a quality shopping experience. Take for instance a small scale retailer based in one of the suburbs, he or she may visit these markets to buy bulk items from wholesalers in order to resell at lower prices at a more favorable time and place. If you as a retailer deal in Gsm products such as sim packs, mobile phones, Gsm recharge cards and accessories the you will simply visit a shop that has a large whole wholesalers dealing in such products. In Lagos Nigeria, such places include Computer village in Ikeja, parts of the Lagos island shop (Idumota) and one end of Saka Tinubu in Victoria Island. This of course is just an example as there are unlimited whole of products and services one could deal in.

Here is my list of beloved markets in Lagos Nigeria and the Kind of products such markets deal in;

Air Travel Card

1. Yaba also known as Tejuosho shop currently undergoing renovation it is one of the most contemporary markets in West Africa with thorough facilities and infrastructure. Tejuosho shop is a densely populated market, with thousands of shopping units and tens of thousands of customers who patronize the businesses that are resident in the involved on a daily basis. Until 2007 when parts of the shop were gutted by fire, Tejuosho shop was maybe the busiest shop in Lagos Nigeria after Idumota, Balogun, Oshodi, Alaba shop and seme markets.

2. Alaba International market. The so called largest electronics shop in Africa, Alaba international shop is home to the biggest dealers of electronic products in Nigeria. Many of the dealers are big time importers and distributors of electrical and electronic gadgets such as flat screen televisions, generators, home appliances especially refrigerators, fans, air conditioners, even Dvd sets, digital satellite dishes and decoders and many more. The shop is a beehive of activities on all days of the week except on Sundays when most of the traders go to church.

3. Computer village. Computer village as the name implies is a shop that deals primarily in the buying and selling of computers together with software and hardware, mobile phones and their accessories. It is home to some of Nigeria's best phone and computer heal guys with many of them demonstrating fine skills in managing, maintaining and repairing phones, computer parts and other connected gadgets. However there is a draw back, this shop is also notorious for housing some citizen of questionable character such as touts, pirates, pick pockets and fraudsters. However the shop offers many benefits such as affordable prices and quality products but only where such products are purchased from reputable and authorized dealers.

4. Idumota. One of the oldest markets in Lagos Nigeria, this shop is the largest shop in West Africa and maybe Africa with tens of thousands of lock up shops occupying various structure in the market. The certain feature about this shop is that it is made up of very many manifold storey structure some measuring 5 or even more floors. Most of the shops are literally apartment rooms converted into shops. The shop is so big that as early as 6 am in the morning it is already recording large volume of transactions.

5. Balogun. Like the Idumota Market, Balogun shop is located on the Lagos Island axis. It too is an old shop with very many lock up shops However unlike Idumota shop it has much fewer manifold storey buildings. Parts of this shop increase into Marina and Broad street (two of the busiest streets in the central company district of Lagos Nigeria).

6. Mile 12. This shop is beloved for being the hotbed of farm furnish and raw foods. Any vegetable or fruit that grows in tropical Africa except those that are alien to Nigerian soil can be found in this market. It is the cheapest shop for foodstuff especially vegetables, fruits and livestock other farm produce.

7. Mushin. Mushin shop is a shop known for having very cheap items when compared with other markets of Lagos Nigeria. The shop is both a wholesale and retail shop with approximately every consumable thinkable, available for sale.

8. Oshodi. Known for its rowdiness and large size Oshodi shop is Nigeria's second largest shop after Idumota market. Up until early 2008, Oshodi was a no go area for many pedestrians and motorists as its roads were so jam packed that free flow of traffic was approximately impossible. That is a thing of the past following the estimation of the Lagos state government to rid the state of rowdiness, lawlessness and disorderliness. Prices of commodities in this shop are also relatively cheap.

9. Onyingbo (White sand). This shop located in the mainland Yaba axis along with its sister shop at Iddo is a prime shop in that it serves as a transit point in the middle of Lagos and a whole of Northern states with foodstuff arriving from Northern Nigeria level to it straight through Iddo. Although not as cheap as Ketu Market, oyingbo shop has a whole of affordable commodities mainly foodstuff and livestock.

10. Alade shop in Ikeja. This shop is contemporary but not as complete as tejuosho. A whole of businesses mostly corporate services and retail shop control in the shop contribution services such as travel and tour services, bureau de change, resale of consumables and even car hire services exist in this market. Things are relatively high-priced owing to its location (Allen Avenue) and proximity to the international airport.

Church Contributions - Know When to Issue a Church Receipt and What Must Be Included on That Receipt

Church contributions ordinarily fall within 4 categories: Cash, Noncash, Gifts, and Donated labor and Services.

One of the most piquant tasks for a church financial administrator is comprehension which type a church gift falls in and whether to issue a church gift receipt or not. The 4 categories are:

Air Travel Card

Cash : Can be a cash, check, or prestige card gift that comes in the gift or mail, it is a regular cash donation and will want a church gift receipt.

NonCash : A written receipt should be issued for all noncash contributions. Usually, your Church is not responsible for establishing the value of the non-cash items and should not comprise any value on the receipt. However, a new tax law adopted in 2004 requires extra documentation from your club for donations of noteworthy vehicles (including automobiles, boats, and airplanes). The rules are pretty detailed. If you need the exact instructions, you can explore it on the Irs site.

Gifts : Usually, gifts to exact needy individuals are not considered charitable contributions.

An example would be if a compassionate church member gives a needy private in your church a combine of bags of groceries, the church could not issue him a receipt for his nondeductible gift.

On the other hand, if a love gift is taken up for the needy private (who does not contribute services to the church), the contributors would be able to deduct their donations. Also, the benevolence assistance is not considered taxable revenue to the needy individual.

Love gifts to pastors and employees fo the church are difficult to determine if they are charitable contributions or not, see my site for love gift guidelines.

Donated Labor and Services: The Irs does not permit a tax deduction for donated labor or services. However, a gift receipt may be issued for donated materials and other out-of-pocket expenses.

Say...a repairman voluntarily came and fixed your church's air conditioner. He ordinarily charges per hour for his labor and he spent for parts.

You can issue him a gift receipt for the parts; however, his labor is a compassionate non-deductible gift to the church. Also, he can deduct his mileage to the church and back if he itemizes on his personal taxes.

Un-reimbursed expenses that volunteers incur while performing their volunteer services can ordinarily be deducted from their personal tax return.

Examples of deductible items comprise mileage (at the current federal suitable mileage rate), trip and lodging, and meals incurred during trip which required an overnight stay.

Important note: If their volunteer's expenses exceed 0, they should receive a letter from your Church indicating the type of services they provided.

The letter should not comprise the value of the volunteer's expenses. The burden is upon the volunteer to prove their expenses.

In the United States, the Irs requires any items to be included on your Church gift receipt.

Starting August 18, 2006, a contributor may only deduct a donation by cash or check if the contributor has a receipt or bank article of the contribution.

Before that date, you could use your canceled check as documentation. However, in new years the Irs has begun to crack down on deductible contributions.

Now all eligible church contributions must have proof of the deductions. As stated above that proof may be whether a bank article or receipt.

The receipt must include:

The organization's name, The donor's name The date of the donation, The amount.

An yearly gift statement will satisfy this requirement for churches.

It should comprise the following wording: "You did not receive any goods or services in connection with these contributions other than intangible religious benefits". The wording does not have to be word for word as the example, but must carry the same concept.

In summary, retention literal, records of church contributions is imperative as they are the life blood of your Church.

Whether you use gift software, spreadsheets, or paper...understanding when to issue receipts and when not to, is knowledge every finance someone in your church should have.

Some favorite Markets in Lagos, Nigeria

In Lagos, Nigeria, there are a amount of markets that attract a large amount of population for varied reasons. Some population go to these markets to buy items because of their relatively low prices while others prefer them for a ability shopping experience. Take for instance a small scale retailer based in one of the suburbs, he or she may visit these markets to buy bulk items from wholesalers in order to resell at lower prices at a more suitable time and place. If you as a retailer deal in Gsm products such as sim packs, movable phones, Gsm recharge cards and accessories the you will naturally visit a shop that has a large amount wholesalers dealing in such products. In Lagos Nigeria, such places comprise Computer hamlet in Ikeja, parts of the Lagos island shop (Idumota) and one end of Saka Tinubu in Victoria Island. This of procedure is just an example as there are unlimited amount of products and services one could deal in.

Here is my list of favorite markets in Lagos Nigeria and the Kind of products such markets deal in;

Air Travel Card

1. Yaba also known as Tejuosho shop currently undergoing renewal it is one of the most modern markets in West Africa with suitable facilities and infrastructure. Tejuosho shop is a densely populated market, with thousands of shopping units and tens of thousands of customers who patronize the businesses that are resident in the involved on a daily basis. Until 2007 when parts of the shop were gutted by fire, Tejuosho shop was perhaps the busiest shop in Lagos Nigeria after Idumota, Balogun, Oshodi, Alaba shop and seme markets.

Computer hamlet as the name implies is a shop that deals primarily in the buying and selling of computers including software and hardware, movable phones and their accessories. It is home to some of Nigeria's best phone and computer fix guys with many of them demonstrating grand skills in managing, maintaining and repairing phones, computer parts and other linked gadgets. Any way there is a draw back, this shop is also notorious for housing some population of questionable character such as touts, pirates, pick pockets and fraudsters. Any way the shop offers many benefits such as affordable prices and ability products but only where such products are purchased from reputable and authorized dealers.

4. Idumota. One of the oldest markets in Lagos Nigeria, this shop is the largest shop in West Africa and perhaps Africa with tens of thousands of lock up shops occupying varied buildings in the market. The confident highlight about this shop is that it is made up of very many multiple storey buildings some measuring 5 or even more floors. Most of the shops are unquestionably apartment rooms converted into shops. The shop is so big that as early as 6 am in the morning it is already recording large volume of transactions.

5. Balogun. Like the Idumota Market, Balogun shop is settled on the Lagos Island axis. It too is an old shop with very many lock up shops Any way unlike Idumota shop it has much fewer multiple storey buildings. Parts of this shop increase into Marina and Broad street (two of the busiest streets in the central company district of Lagos Nigeria).

6. Mile 12. This shop is favorite for being the hotbed of farm furnish and raw foods.

The shop is both a wholesale and sell shop with approximately every consumable anticipated ready for sale.

8. Oshodi. Known for its rowdiness and large size Oshodi shop is Nigeria's second largest shop after Idumota market. Up until early 2008, Oshodi was a no go area for many pedestrians and motorists as its roads were so jam packed that free flow of traffic was approximately impossible. That is a thing of the past following the determination of the Lagos state government to rid the state of rowdiness, lawlessness and disorderliness. Prices of commodities in this shop are also relatively cheap.

9. Onyingbo (White sand). This shop settled in the mainland Yaba axis along with its sister shop at Iddo is a prime shop in that it serves as a transit point between Lagos and a amount of Northern states with foodstuff arriving from Northern Nigeria level to it straight through Iddo. Although not as cheap as Ketu Market, oyingbo shop has a amount of affordable commodities generally foodstuff and livestock.

10. Alade shop in Ikeja. This shop is modern but not as complete as tejuosho. A amount of businesses mostly corporate services and sell market operate in the shop offering services such as tour and tour services, bureau de change, resale of consumables and even car hire services exist in this market. Things are relatively costly owing to its location (Allen Avenue) and proximity to the international airport.

11 scholar Cruising Tips

Cruising is such a great thing to do. Shoot, what's not to love about it? All that extraordinary leisure fun, getting taken care of by all those people, going to cool places. Damn skippy!

One of the things I authentically like about cruising is telling habitancy neat stuff to make their cruising sense better. Now, I know, it's pretty hard to enhance on something that is so intrinsically great to begin with, but, I do what I can. And, it's not a bad lifestyle (giggle).

Air Travel Card

So, here's an additional one installment of my life's work - sharing the fun and pleasure of cruising to the Caribbean. In this instance, I'm sharing a few tips about how to level the process of cruising, and get a bit more bang for your buck. In the interest of space and the amount of time you have to read online articles, I've only included 11 cruising tips here. The criteria used for which tips to present in this record were 1) how easy the facts was to explicate in a few short paragraphs; 2) how useful it is to someone who doesn't know much about the art and science of cruising; and, 3) tips that pay off (you'll know what I mean after you've used these small jewels on board a ship).

Tip #1:Take Care Of Your Cabin Steward.

One of your best friends on the cruise will be the someone that picks up your dirty clothes, hangs up your wet towels, straightens up you messy vanity and turns down your bed every night - your Cabin Steward He, or she, will do an excellent job of making up your cabin twice a day, and sometimes more often if needed. This is the someone who will also cope any extra requests you have, like if you need an extra pillow. I make it a point to get to know my steward and on the very first day, make sure I tip him (or her) an extra . Yes, I know the daily gratuity that gets added to my inventory does cover the cabin staff, but, make no mistake. These guys, who do an excellent job anyway, can add a nice extra dimension to your journey. For example, I like to keep my ice buckets full and sometimes I even dedicate my sink or a cooler to keeping our beer, which a happy Cabin Steward will keep covered in ice for all day long.

My generosity is all the time understood and rewarded. I've been delighted to find extra towels, robes, chocolate hors d'oeuvres and even a bottle of wine. One other point, my popular way to impart with my steward (if I don't bump into him/her in the hallway) is to place a Post-It note on the mirror over the vanity. It all the time works.

Tip #2: Copies Are A Good Thing

Make copies of all the important travel documents that you take (driver's license, passport, reputation card, etc.) and keep them in a safe place on your someone while you are traveling and in your cabin once you get on board. If whatever happens, you will have all facts you need, and the purser's office will be best able to help you.
While you're at it, print out the cruise info you expect to use the most (such as directions, phone numbers, etc), on a colored piece of paper. That way it stands out from the varied other pieces of paper you'll have in your cruise documents.

Tip #3: Electricity Is A authentically Good Thing.

Each cabin has only one electrical outlet, which is located right next to the desk/vanity.
And it has only two plugs. If you're like us and you want to use your computer, fee your camera, listen to music and use a hair dryer while someone is taking a shower... Well, you get the picture. Bring a power strip or surge protector. You may also find it useful to being an 8-ft prolongation cord, that way, you have electricity in any place you want it in the cabin.

Tip #4: put in order Your Stomach.

For about a week before leaving, eat at least one serving of yogurt every day, or take acidophilus supplements. It helps to build up the good bacteria that your digestive track needs to deal with any small bugs or impurities that you pick up. Some of the best food you'll find will be in small local establishments, or even roadside venues. The chow is authentically good in these places, and authentically spiced. But, the sanitation requirements in the Caribbean are not the same as in the Us. Also, the general diet for locals is distinct than what you may be used to. Your stomach may not be used to it all. The yogurt is an easy and effective way to build up your digestive balance and immunity.

Tip #5: Freshen Your Luggage

If your travel time to the ship is more than 24 hours, put fabric softener sheets in the middle of your garments to keep everything in your suite case smelling fresh. This is particularly nice with garments or accessories that are not ordinarily laundered, such as sweaters or jackets. You may want to cut one in half and place each half in your shoes. You'll be even more appreciative on your return home, since your luggage will be packed with soiled clothes, some of which may even be damp.

Tip #6: Bring Bungee Cords

Bungee cords are one of the most useful items you can take and for reasons other than you might first think. They are easy to pack, take up virtually no room at all, and can even be useful in keeping your bags lashed together as you maneuver onto the ship.
But here's the authentically cool part. One thing you'll find when you get to your cabin is that there are never adequate places to hang things - like a shirt, or hat, or camera case. Most cabins have two or three hooks and that's about it. While a hook is only big adequate to hold one hat or other similar item, it is big adequate to hold two or three bungee cords. What's more, there are lots of places straight through out the cabin that can adapt one end of a bungee cord but would never work as a hanging place, such as a lamp or the edge of your mirror. Just hang the bungee cord from any suitable place and - voila! - you have a hook that is sturdy adequate to hold whatever you've got.

They also make a great clothesline. Some bathrooms have a retractable clothes line in the shower, but not all. Your bungee cord can be strung over the chance of your shower, or in the middle of a combine of towel bars. Be creative, you'll find several places that work.

And finally, one of the main irritations of being up on the deck when the ship is underway (as is the case with Sea Days) is the 20 knot winds that you have to deal with. When you get up from your seat to hit the bar or take a break, It's not unusual at all to see a pool towel or shirt or hat go pilotage over the edge of the ship. If you have a bungee cord with you, you can authentically strap everything to your chair.

Tip #7: Bring Extra Clothes Hangers

There are often not adequate clothes hangers in your cabin, and those that are there can be a pain in the butt to use. They're ordinarily the kind that has a small peg which slips into a metal ring which is enduringly attached to the clothes bar in the closet. So be sure to pack adequate extras to cope all of your important hang-up clothes, so you have adequate and you don't have to mess around with the ones in the closet.

And speaking of clothes hangers, you can buy Inflatable clothes hangers (that's right, inflatable coat hangers. Who'da thunk it?) from Amazon.com (click the "Apparel" tag" on the website). They take up no space at all, are totally easy to inflate and are sturdy adequate to hold shirts and coats. They are also great for eliminating those pesky bulges that you get on the shoulders of your shirts. You might need to get a combine of sets so you can keep one set for traveling and use the other in your home closet.

Tip #8: Check With Your assurance business (auto and medical)

If something happens and you are required to get any kind of healing medicine while you are cruising, there is a authentically good chance that you will have to pay for the medicine and get reimbursed later. So, find out before you go if your condition assurance will pay for such treatments, and what kind of documentation you'll need to file a claim with your company. This is one of those times where you may want to examine into travel insurance, especially if you are traveling with a condition that elevates the risk (such as older travelers, pregnancy, or some other pre-existing condition). Get very clear facts from your business about the documentation you need from the ship or port, because once you leave where the medicine is delivered, there is virtually no chance you will ever get healing records sent to you without hiring an attorney. If you have a pre-existing condition, you'll get best medicine if you contribute the healing staff with your healing history.

In the same vein, check your coverage with your auto assurance company. You may find that you don't need any supplementary coverage, which can save you a lot if you settle to rent a car or scooter. Keep in mind, however, many rental clubs require you to make good on any damages when you return the vehicle, so if you are using your personal assurance you will have to pay for the damages and get reimbursed. That small fact is one of the major incentives the rental clubs use to sell you the insurance. Unfortunately, even though they are blood-suckers for trying to manipulate you, it is often less hassle to go ahead and buy the local insurance. But, get a pro conception from your agent.

Tip #9: A Can Of Air Freshener

Especially if you are traveling on one of the older ships, it's a authentically good idea to pack a can of your popular air freshener. I prefer the types that kill odors as opposed to those that just scent the air (i.e., Lysol, because it not only deodorizes the room if needed but also sanitizes surfaces). In the small confines of a suitable cabin, any unpleasant odor can be stifling and the room ventilation principles can take a while work.

Tip #10: Stay Out Of The Steam Baths.

Yes, we know, there isn't whatever quite like the soothing and cleansing feeling of a steam bath to relax you or rid you of the after effects of a late night partying. Even so, we Never use public steam baths. This isn't a knock on any singular cruise line, it's a knock on public steam baths. A steam room is the absolute excellent environment for all kinds of airborne germs and bacteria - hot, moist, subdued lighting. Oh yeah, excellent for that small cold bug or other mischievous virus that gets sneezed out of people. Stay Away From Steam Baths!

Tip # 11: Use Porters When You Leave The Terminal.

Advantages & Disadvantages of galvanic Cars

With the price of oil soaring and gasoline prices rising as a result, the desire for alternative fuels is higher than ever. Electric cars are one alternative mode of communication that eschews the use of gas. Electric cars have both advantages and disadvantages as an alternative mode of transportation.

Advantages of Electric Cars
Electricity is anywhere and easy to come by. We do not need to set up electricity stations on the projection to re-charge our cars. It can be done at home. Electric vehicles are noiseless. There are no emissions from Electric vehicles. As a result the environment will be cleaner with less smog and greenhouse gases. Electric cars are easy to assemble. They have few absorbing parts so they want less time and endeavor to put together. Electric cars want less maintenance. So not only will the owner save money on gas purchases but there will be less maintenance costs. There may be tax toll or rebates potential if an Electric car is purchased. Check with your city and insurance business to see if they have any specials rates or rebates if you buy an Electric car. The power plants that produce the electricity for the cars do pollute the environment but pollution from these power plants can be controlled best than gasoline engines.
Disadvantages of Electric Cars
One payment on a battery can take the car approximately 160km. Therefore if you plan on traveling a long length this is not the car to use. It takes 6-8 hours to fully recharge the battery. You can not expect to be ready to go in a few minutes after wearing down the battery. There is no battery charging stations along highways for long length travel. And if there were it would take too long to completely re-charge your car. Your home must be outfitted with a charging station to recharge the car battery. Your Electric bill will probably increase as you have to draw power from your home electrical system to payment your car. Electric cars cannot compete with gas powered cars in terms of speed and acceleration. Technology has not yet advanced an electrical system as noteworthy as a gas powered vehicle. Accessories such as air conditioning will drain the battery faster.Today Electric vehicles work wonderfully for short length tour and would be ideal for the weekend or for the personel that works at home. Electric vehicle manufacturers are working hard to make this car effective and worthwhile for everyone. In the meantime the gas/electric hybrid is an effective substitute for the long length driver. While it does save on gas there is no need to re-charge the vehicles battery.
