Entry: "Robbed, Emprisoned, Kidnapped, Jesus Christ, an air rescue from the Atlantic and Deported from Rio De Janeiro I'm not sure how to write about what happened to us in Rio, or whether I should even say what happened and just say we had a great time and then we left. So I'm going to write down how it went, then read it back to myself and if it doesn't sound too bad I'll but it in. I don't think we were ever supposed to go to Rio, or why suddenly our luck changed so drastically fbut that's exactly what happened. And things went from bad to worse, right up to the point when we decided to get out of Brazil before we were possibly found dead, not that we had much choice in the leaving part in the end. Originally our rough plan on visiting Brazil was to start in Sao Paulo because we had some friends to visit there, but because Ciara had only a few days left in Rio it made more sense to go see her first and then hit Sao Paulo on the way back. It was a quick decision and the first wrong one we made. Even entering Brazil the second time, looking back things started to change. First we were stuck at the border for 2 hours waiting for a bus to the Foz Do Iguazu terminal. When we got off the bus we were followed ...
