Entry: "Normally I have very little for breakfast, usually cereal and maybe some toast if I'm really hungry, but when your hotel has a breakfast buffet as part of the price, you find room. The breakfast offering at the Harbour Plaza Metropolis was wide and tempting. Bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages, fresh fruits, pastries, hash browns, roast meats, chinese dishes including dim sims and noodles, plus...well, you get the idea. The food on offer made my normal breakfast look pitiful. So after consuming my body weight in breakfast I waddled back to my room, breathing heavily and holding on to walls in case I fell and left a Terry shaped indentation in the floor. Recovered from the calorie soaked orgy of my morning meal I set out with purpose in my eye and danger in my credit card. First stop was the Golden Shopping Arcade at Sham Shui Po. This is four floors of technical nirvana, a staggering array of the latest innovations from the computing wizards of Asia. Try as I might though, I couldn't find anything I needed or didn't already have. This was slightly disappointing, but my real reason for this visit was to buy a new cellphone.
